All-weather Adventures: Our new Baby Garden

We’re delighted to share that our outdoor baby area at Woodend Country Childcare has been transformed with brand new artificial grass!

This lovely upgrade means our littlest ones can now enjoy exploring the grounds whatever the weather, rain or shine, without a puddle or muddy patch in sight. Fresh air and outdoor play are such an important part of early development, and this change means our babies can get out and experience it far more often.

From tummy time to those first wobbly steps, the new space gives our little ones a safe, soft and welcoming spot to explore, play and grow, come rain or sunshine.

We can’t wait to see them making the most of it!

Baby Bunnies

(9 months-2 years)

Our beautiful babies are well supported by caring, experienced and highly qualified mothers and practitioners. We provide a range of experiences from tummy time and sensory soft play to baby Picasso and getting out in nature.

Chirpy Chicks

(2-3 years)

Our Toddlers are actively supported by highly qualified and experienced practitioners through a range of activities from dancing, yoga and pilates, to baking delicious healthy snacks and experimenting in the mud kitchen.

Little Lambs

(3-5 years Pre-school)

In Pre school, with our Little Lambs up to five years, we encourage independence, literacy, communication and interaction skills. In forest school, we create activities such as den building and using tools to support physical development.
